Statement on Murder of Black People and Police Violence Against Protesters
NY Renews, a climate justice coalition of over 200 member organizations, released the following statement:
“We’re disgusted by the consistent murder of Black People at the hands of police across the country. NY Renews stands for racial justice and against white supremacy. Black Lives Matter, and we stand in solidarity with protesters in New York State and throughout the country who are risking their lives and safety to demand justice.“
